Final Fantasy III Job System
FF3 was the first Final Fantasy game to utilize a "job" system. In this system, players could choose the character classes they wanted from an ever-growing list of jobs. In FF1, you were stuck with the "job" that you gave your characters, but in FF3, you could change jobs at any time you could access the menu to do so.
