The 6 Dragon Gods and Such A Guide to Success Version 1.00 By Sky Render Yeah, yeah, everybody and everybody's grandma's written one of these by now, right? Well, it's my turn. :P THE DRAGONS Yellow Dragon Suggested Party: Lynx, Karsh, Fargo Attacks: GiddyBreath, 1-4 hit physical combos What a joke! Fight him first, he doesn't have ANY dangerous attacks (I've never seen him do more than about 200 damage, and that was with a physical combo attack). Green Dragon Suggested Party: Lynx, Leah, Fargo Attacks: BadBreath, ToxicBreath, GreenField, Carnivore (only if the field effect is all green), 1-4 hit physical combos (VERY rare) What a jerk. This guy should be called the Dodging Dragon. He's the only one of the six that ever has dodged Fargo's Pilfer 6 times in a row, 4 of which were at 99% success rate. Anyway, this guy's only a threat if the field is all green. Just keep disrupting the field, and whoop on him with physical attacks. While you're here, why not trap a few dozen Carnivore elements? Blue Dragon Suggested Party: Lynx, Zappa, Fargo Attacks: Deluge, Iceberg, TsunamiBeam, 1-4 hit physical combos Sort of a water/ice version of the Yellow Dragon. This guy's almost as much of a joke, but beware! His attacks can freeze your party members, so be sure to equip at least one character with some sort of anti-blue status effect accessory (preferrably Fargo)! Give that person a few Purify spells, too. Red Dragon Suggested Party: Lynx, Zappa, Fargo Attacks: FireyBreath, FireBreath, 1-4 hit physical combos The absolute hardest of the basic elemental dragons, the Red Dragon still isn't much to behold. DON'T STEAL FROM IT AT FIRST! Let it transform into it's super-sized form before you get larcenic. Ahem, anyhow, try your best not to use any elemental attacks on this bad boy, and equip as many HealAll and CureAll elements as you can bear to put on or buy. Good luck! Black Dragon Suggested Party: Lynx, Starky, Fargo Attacks: DarkBreath, Anti(Element) (if hit by elemental attacks), GravityBomb, HellSoul (VERY rare), 1-4 hit physical combos Okay, the Black Dragon is actually pretty weak. Starky can rip him to shreds with physical attacks alone (assuming you've got Deandorite weapons equipped; if not, shame on you!), and even Lynx can do a fair amount of damage (even more if you beat Criosphynx, and have the Sunglasses equipped on him). Whack away at him with physical attacks, and he'll fall faster than a brick from the Empire State Building. Sky Dragon Suggested Party: Lynx, Starky, Fargo Attacks: NullState, Magnify, WhiteBreath, 1-4 hit physical combos The Sky Dragon isn't even remotely difficult. Lynx can rip him into tiny shreds all by himself! Nonetheless, you should be careful, as this bad boy takes the "TurnBlack + PhotonBeam" combo to a new level of meanness. What do I mean? Well, it likes to use Magnify + WhiteBreath. Why is it that enemies can cast 2 or 3 spells per turn, while you can only cast 1? Hmm... Anyway, just use physical attacks, and heal with green and blue elements (do NOT heal with white elements). CRIOSPHINX This guy's annoying as hell, but he's a pansy when it comes to physical attacks. Here's a great little strategy that I worked up (appologies to any party that may have a similar strategy). 1. Get the Yellow Plate, and equip it on Lynx 2. For a faster fight, you might want to get the Grand Dream/Mastermune, Serge/Lynx's ultimate swallow; there's tons of FAQs on the matter, most of which are called "Dario FAQ" or somesuch 3. Load up Serge/Lynx's element grid with CurePlus on the lower levels, and EagleEye higher up (if you want) 4. Equip Serge/Lynx with an anti-yellow status ailment charm, one of the Dragon Knight/Dragoon items, and perhaps even a Dreamer's Scarf 5. Go to Earth Dragon Isle in Another, to where the Yellow Dragon is in Home 6. Focus on physically attacking Criosphinx, and healing when it physically attacks you (your other two party members will almost guaranteed be dead before the battle is over) 7. Use EagleEye to improve your aim massively (not required, but the battle tends to go a lot faster that way)
